This is the Awesome LED Flashlight App exclusively designed for the iPhone 4. Unlock the hidden power of iPhone 4′s LED Flash with our new App! Featuring awesome strobe light, morse code and flash on motion. DS Media team started working on this project on day one of iPhone 4 release. The application was designed and built over the weekend and already under review in the iTunes App Store.

Not just another Flashlight App
Utilizing iPhone 4′s LED, we’ve created an app that takes full advantage of the new LED hardware. Featuring a Strobe Light, Morse Code, Motion, and a Flashlight mode gives you total control of the LED Flash. Morse Code Translator being my favorite!
Not Just another Brand
We decided to develop the brand around our existing apps. This was a really great idea because it ties perfectly with our line of apps, and saved us a lot of time trying to come up with a unique name and logo. The Light-O-Matic Logo follows the same guidelines as Stun-O-Matic. I designed the icon to represent the shape of an LED diode. We decided it was best to keep it really simple. Everything from the colors, fonts, twitter background to our launch image is all consistent and creates a brand all on its own. Light-O-Matic, The Awesome Flashlight App, kinda has a nice ring to it, huh?
Completely Custom
Every pixel is custom! All textures and 3D Objects are completely original and made from scratch! Pedro Ruiz is the genius behind the 3D modeling/animation, motion graphics, and video editing. While also being the originator of the idea, Pedro made sure every aspect of the app was top notch quality. I did all the texturing/coloring, web design/development and copywriting. Ben Stahlhood is the brains and master coder behind all the functionality and programming. He devoted the entire weekend putting everything together, totally blew us away on how fast he was able to put this together.

The Approval Process
We submitted the app on June 28, 2010. It’s still under review as of July 5th 2010. Follow Light-O-Matic on twitter to get posted when the app gets approved, promo codes and other cool updates!
