Mixr at WWDC2010

WWDC was a success! New announcements coming and I am thrilled to have been fortunate enough to attend. The DS Media team has spent the entire week learning and working on implementing the new iOS4 features and API’s. We’re really excited to be working on some great new features.

Mixr has gained the attention of some big news blogs such as ZDNET, Gizmodo, and DJ Times. Tons of great feedback from users who have feature requests, positive insights and really just want us to develop a killer dj app for the iPad. We also recently won AppsFire app contest for best app in the entertainment category. We’ve been contacted by third party companies (including record labels, dj equipment distributors and case manufactures ) interested in our application. Acquisition offers, magazine interviews, you name it. Never before have I worked on or created a product that had this much potential.

The whole concept is starting to get a lot bigger than just an iPad app that mixes two tracks. Although I can’t go over all the details yet, I do want to announce we’re in the process of finalizing our team now, and will be working full time on mixr. We’ll be attending this years Apple WWDC and will continue to work hard to develop amazing features that will make this the killer dj app.

I’d like to close this update with a huge “Thank You!” to everyone who has support Mixr. We’re making this application for you, and can not wait to get this in your hands!
